Pacifica Stellar Gaze Mascara

Pacifica Stellar Gaze Mascara

I ran out of my Ere Perez Volumising Waterproof Mascara a couple of weeks ago and have been looking for another natural mascara ever since. Although I love that mascara it's such a pain to get off that it put me off buying another tube. I like my lashes to have volume and length (greedy, I know!) so finding a new one has been pretty hard - most natural mascaras are good at lengthening but not so great at volume so it seems. In the end I decided to go for the Pacifica Stellar Gaze Mascara * in Stardust as I'd heard good reviews and it claimed to be similiar to what I was after.

Pacifica's Stellar Gaze Mascara is infused with coconut oil and vitamin B to hydrate the lashes whilst also lengthening, strengthening and adding volume. It's cruelty free, vegan and it's free from FD&C Colour, parabens, talc and mineral oil. As I was looking for a mascara that I can wear all day every day, it's important for it to be
natural so that it's gentle on my eyes. I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and already have pretty strong feelings about it!

First of all the brush is incredible - it's a big, fluffy brush so it coats the lashes easily, but doesn't soak them in too much product. This brush is one of the best I've used for evenly distributing the product over each lash. It is quite a big brush though, so you do have to be careful not to get it all over your brow bone or under your bottom lashes. After a couple of applications you get used to it though and then it will become your favourite mascara applicator ever!

The formula is also amazing. It's not too wet or runny and it smooths over the lashes really easily. As mentioned above the brush ensures that just the right amount of product is distributed on the lashes and it's never too much. I actually think you could put 100 layers of this mascara on and your lashes would still not look clumpy. It's gives me the most amazing, fluttery lashes and it looks as if I have false lashes on. It's not the most volumising mascara I've tried but it does add volume to your lashes, making them look fuller than normal. Another good thing is that you can layer this over and over without lashes going clumpy - two layers are perfect for daytime and then I can easily add another couple over the top at night and it doesn't go clumpy of make my lashes stick together. I'd definitely say that's a win!

I love that this is all natural as it doesn't irritate my eyes and I can wear this all day without smudging. The only thing I would say is that it takes a little time to dry, so try not to touch them or sneeze (been there, done that) or you WILL end up with panda eyes. Not a sexy look!

I really love this mascara and I will definitely be repurchasing. I'm struggling to find anything bad about it - the only thing I would like is a tiny bit more volume but that's neither here nor there for me. The price is incredibly reasonable at £15.49 from Love Lula and it's become a staple in my make up bag already.

Have you tried Stellar Gaze before? What did you think?
